THE MISTAKE is what happened when one of our leather suppliers sent us the wrong thickness of leather.  We started cutting it before measuring the thickness so we couldn't send it back.

We put our fertile and perverted minds to work and came up with this Prison Strap.  It's made of the same oiled sole leather that we use in our Louisianna Prison Straps and Brown Strops but it's just a bit thicker at 1/4 inch thick.  The Mistake is meaures 3 -1/4 inches wide and the working length is 15 inches long.  The Mistake is much more flexible than any of our other Texas style Prison Straps.

Two separate layers of 3/16 Inch thick black oiled harness leather. Heavier than the Original Texas Prison Strap and will become more flexible with use. The leather is 14 inches long by 2-1/2 inch wide. Over all length is 22 inches, including the wood handle.  A formidable strap.  Mr Hanson's personal favorite.
